Hi!

For ten years, my husband and I traveled the country in our RV. It was easy to strike up conversations with other campers, and quite often, when we discovered we had more than RVing in common, we'd make a point to cross paths again.

During that time, we built Campendium, an app to help people find and share great places to camp.

At the end of 2021, we got off the road and moved to Las Vegas. Now I work from home, and it's been harder to meet people living in one place than it was while traveling full-time.

I tried a few Meetup groups, but found single-interest groups to be too broad. Local subreddits and Facebook groups weren't much better – "new in town" or "make friends" isn't enough to make me show up in real life.

We need a better way to find and form offline groups.

Some of my favorite people came out of the RVing community, and I still see many of them today. Camping brought us together, but it's not why we still hang out.

That's why I'm building All Friend Kind: a better way to turn shared interests and preferences into local groups that build strong bonds.
